What do you do with bread that’s starting to turn stale?
At our house it never goes to waste.
We have a bread machine and make homemade bread a couple times a week.
The kids don’t like the heels, and fresh bread is only fresh for a coupla days.
One of my kids‘ favorite things for breakfast is French Toast Casserole.
I’ve been know to toss in left over waffles and pancakes from the week, hot dog buns, biscuits, you name it.
It’s a wonderful way to use up the extra bread items and not let them go to waste.
